      "verbatimText": "Due to a power outage that has led to a shutdown of the HVAC system, BRCC’s Mid City Campus is closed for the remainder of today, Wednesday, June 3.\n\nAll in-person classes scheduled for the remainder of the day, and all activities, including summer camps, are canceled for the rest of the day. Online classes will proceed as scheduled. Students with any questions should contact their instructors.\n\nBRCC employees who work on Mid City Campus should work remotely for the rest of the day. Any employees who have questions should reach out to their supervisors.\n\nFamilies with children at a BRCC summer camp today should make all reasonable attempts to pick up their children, but rest assured that BRCC staff will remain with all children until they are picked up.\n\nWe plan to return to normal operations tomorrow, but if anything changes, we will alert you.",
