These 2 non-student individuals engaged in short conversations with the students before leaving the campus. While DPSEM is actively investigating the incident, this serves as an important reminder of our shared responsibility to keep our community safe. Please ensure exterior doors close securely behind you, never prop doors open for any reason, and immediately report any unauthorized or suspicious activity to DPSEM.\n\n• If there is an immediate emergency, call the Brown University Department of Public Safety and Emergency Management at 401-863-4111.\n• For non-emergencies, 401-863-3322.\nWe will share additional updates, should that become necessary.
