      "verbatimText": "Clery Crime Alert\nBurglary\nOn Friday, September 13, 2024 and Monday, September 16, 2024 between 5:10 p.m. and 5:40 p.m., two\nburglaries occurred at 535 West 111 Street, at the Morningside Campus.\n\nThe complainants, both Columbia University students, reported their packages missing from 535 West\n111 Street. Video review shows an individual entering the building on September 13 at about 5:37 p.m.,\nafter ringing tenant doorbells. Once inside, the individual removed several packages. Further video\nreview shows the same individual entering 535 West 111 Street. on 9/16 at 5:10 p.m. in the same\nmanner and removing packages without permission or authority.\n\nThe incidents were reported to Columbia University Public Safety on Saturday, September 15 at 7:15pm\nand September 16 at 7:01pm. If you have any additional information about these incidents, please\ncontact the Department of Public Safety at 212-854-2797.\n\nThe suspect is light-complexioned with short light hair, wearing a black sports coat, dark pants, and dark\nshoes.\n\nSafety Tips\nDo not allow others to “piggyback” behind you into a secure location.\nBe sure to lock all outside doors and windows before you leave the house or go to bed.
