      "verbatimText": "Clery Crime Alert\nAttempted Robbery\nOn Friday, May 2, 2025, at 7:03 am, an attempted robbery occurred inside of the Chase Bank at 2824\nBroadway, at the Morningside Campus.\nThe complainant, a Columbia University employee, stated that they were withdrawing cash from the ATM\nvestibule when an unknown individual attempted to take the cash from them. A struggle ensued inside\nthe bank but no money was taken from the victim.\nThe incident was reported to Columbia University Public Safety on the same date at 7:30 a.m. If you\nhave any additional information about this incident, please contact the Department of Public Safety at\n212-854-2797.\nThe suspect is male presenting with a dark complexion, a medium build, a shaved head, and a\nmustache. They were wearing eyeglasses, 1 red sneaker, 1 white sneaker, a blue Yankee sweatshirt,\nand green camouflage pants.
