      "verbatimText": "Clery Crime Alert\nRobberies\nOn Thursday, January 2, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Columbia University Public Safety was\nnotified by the NYPD of two armed robberies that took place just off-campus at Morningside Park,\naround the West 114th Street entrance.\n\nThe NYPD reported that on January 1, 2025, at 4:55 p.m., a non-affiliate was stopped by two armed\nsubjects in Morningside Park and property was demanded. The two subjects fled south on Morningside\nDrive. The second robbery followed the same pattern and took place on January 2, 2025, at 11:30 a.m.\nIf you have any additional information about these incidents, please contact the Department of Public\nSafety at (212) 854-2797. A report is on file with the NYPD.\n\nThe subjects are described by the NYPD as male-presenting, light skinned, 16 to 18 years old, wearing\nall black.
