      "verbatimText": "Clery Crime Alert\nBurglary / Public Lewdness\nThe Department of Public Safety has been informed of a burglary and act of public lewdness that\noccurred on January 21, 2026, at approximately 4:20 AM, at 606 West 114th Street.\nA Columbia University student reported that an unknown individual entered their second-floor apartment\nthrough an open window. Once inside, the individual exposed himself to the student. After being pushed away,\nthe subject fled on foot, traveling north on Broadway. He was last seen entering the 116th Street-Columbia\nUniversity subway station at 4:27 AM.\nThe NYPD has taken a report for both burglary and public lewdness.  If you have any additional information,\nplease contact Public Safety at 212-854-2797.\nThe picture of the subject is below:\nHarm Reduction Strategies\n- Ensure all windows and doors are locked, even if you are on an upper floor.\n- Trust your instincts.
