      "verbatimText": "Clery Act Safety Alert\nOff Campus Person Shot\nIncident Date/Time: May 18, 2025, at approximately 6:35 PM\nIncident Location: The Connector Apartments (not Georgia Tech housing) located at 699 Spring Street NW\nIncident Description: Witnesses reported hearing an argument followed by a gunshot in the hallway of The Connector off-campus apartments. One person was found shot and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. The victim is a Georgia Tech student. There is no threat to the campus.\nStatus of Investigation: This incident is being investigated by the Atlanta Police Department. Report any information regarding this and other criminal incidents to Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS (8477).\nSee Something, Say Something Report any information regarding this and other criminal incidents to the Georgia Tech Police Department (GTPD) by calling 404-894-2500 or by emailing crimetips@police.gatech.edu.
