      "verbatimText": "Clery Act Safety Alert\nOff Campus Carjacking\nIncident Date/Time: August 6, 2017, at approximately 1:00 a.m.\nIncident Location: Eighth Street between Williams Street and Spring Street, near the University House Midtown parking deck entrance\nIncident Description: The victim, who is not affiliated with the Institute, was standing outside of his rented vehicle when he observed the suspect exit the passenger side of a blue compact car and run towards him with a gun in his hand. The suspect got into the driver’s seat, pointed a handgun at the passengers and demanded they exit the vehicle. The passengers complied, and the stolen vehicle and suspect vehicle were last seen headed north on Williams Street towards Tenth Street. There were no injuries reported. Descriptions of Suspect: Black male 18-22 years of age Thin build 5'5\" tall Short dark hair Black short sleeve t-shirt Dark pants Armed with a handgun\nSuspect Vehicle: Blue compact hatchback Description of Stolen Vehicle: 2016 White Nissan Altima with an unknown Illinois license plate\nStatus of Investigation: This incident is being investigated by the Atlanta Police Department.
