      "verbatimText": "Clery Act Safety Alert\nPointing a Pistol at Another\nIncident Date/Time: August 22, 2020, at approximately 6:30 a.m.\nIncident Location: Waffle House, 66 Fifth Street, NW\nIncident Description: An intoxicated male patron of the Waffle House in Tech Square was asked to leave the location after becoming disorderly. The male displayed a firearm concealed in his waistband to the Waffle House employees. Another group of patrons attempted to intervene, at which point the male pulled the weapon from his waistband and pointed it at the group. The male fled in a white Mercedes CLA. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle on Spring Street, however, the driver refused to stop and fled south on the interstate. None of the patrons were Tech affiliated and no students were involved in the incident. There were no injuries reported.\nDescription of Suspect: Black male Black hat Red shirt Black pants (Clear image not available at this time)\nSuspect Vehicle: White Mercedes CLA (License Plate Withheld)\nStatus of Investigation: This incident is being investigated by the Georgia Tech Police Department.
