      "verbatimText": "Clery Act Safety Alert\n Off Campus Carjacking\nIncident Date/Time: August 6, 2017, at approximately 1:00 a.m.\n\nIncident Location: Eighth Street between Williams Street and Spring Street, near the University House\nMidtown parking deck entrance\n\nIncident Description: The victim, who is not affiliated with the Institute, was standing outside of his\nrented vehicle when he observed the suspect exit the passenger side of a blue compact car and run\ntowards him with a gun in his hand. The suspect got into the driver's seat, pointed a handgun at the\npassengers and demanded they exit the vehicle. The passengers complied, and the stolen vehicle and\nsuspect vehicle were last seen headed north on Williams Street towards Tenth Street. There were no\ninjuries reported.\n\nDescriptions of Suspect:\nBlack male\n18-22 years of age\nThin build\n5'5\" tall\nShort dark hair\nBlack short sleeve t-shirt\nDark pants\nArmed with a handgun\n\nSuspect Vehicle:\nBlue compact hatchback\n\nDescription of Stolen Vehicle:\n2016 White Nissan Altima with an unknown Illinois license plate\n\nStatus of Investigation: This incident is being investigated by the Atlanta Police Department.
