      "verbatimText": "Clery Act Safety Alert\n Off Campus Person Shot\n\nIncident Date/Time: May 18, 2025, at approximately 6:35 PM\n\nIncident Location: The Connector Apartments (not Georgia Tech housing) located at 699 Spring Street NW\n\nIncident Description: Witnesses reported hearing an argument followed by a gunshot in the hallway of The\nConnector off-campus apartments. One person was found shot and was taken by ambulance to the hospital.\nThe victim is a Georgia Tech student. There is no threat to the campus.\n\nStatus of Investigation: This incident is being investigated by the Atlanta Police Department. Report any\ninformation regarding this and other criminal incidents to Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS (8477).\n\nSee Something, Say Something\nReport any information regarding this and other criminal incidents to the Georgia Tech Police Department\n(GTPD) by calling 404-894-2500 or by emailing crimetips@police.gatech.edu. In addition, you can help\nGTPD and the community fight crime. Don't look the other way or ignore suspicious activity.
