      "verbatimText": "Clery Act Safety Alert\n\n Off Campus Shots Fired\n\nIncident Date/Time: January 18, 2022 at approximately 3:50pm\n\nIncident Location: Biltmore at Midtown Apartments -855 W. Peachtree\nStreet, NW\n\nIncident Description: Officers responded to a call of shots fired at the\nBiltmore at Midtown Apartments. Officers located a man who had been shot.\nHe was transported to the hospital in stable condition. A handgun and drugs\nwere recovered at the scene. There is no threat to the campus and the victim\nis not affiliated with the Institute. Georgia Tech Police will have an increased\npresence in the area.\n\nStatus of Investigation: This incident is being investigated by the Atlanta\nPolice Department. Report any information regarding this and other criminal\nincidents to Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS (8477).\n\nSee Something, Say Something\nReport any information regarding this and other criminal incidents to the\nGeorgia Tech Police Department (GTPD) by calling 404-894-2500 or by\nemailing crimetips@police.gatech.edu.
