      "verbatimText": "On September 9, 2024, the GCU Police Department worked an investigation involving a theft in sales of stolen scooters. After word spread on social media fourteen additional scooters were reported stolen. The suspect, a GCU student was arrested for trafficking stolen property. The Public Safety Department urges the GCU community to take necessary actions to secure personal property such as e-scooters, bicycles, skateboards, etc. If you see something suspicious, report it to the Public Safety Department by telephone at 602-639-8100; in person at The Grove Parking Garage; or if you wish, anonymously through “TIPS” at https://edu.moatusers.com/IncidentReport/Introduction",
