      "verbatimText": "Safety Bulletin Follow-up: Students Chased by Unknown Male\n\nLehigh Police investigated a report by four Lehigh students that an unknown male chased them from Starbucks toward campus on Sunday (https://lehigh.apparmor.com/Notifications/CAP/?id=130554&t=214524358) and determined that there was no threat.\n\nDetectives viewed video camera footage, identified, and interviewed the male involved. It was determined that the male and the students had a different perception of the events when they occurred. The man told police he yelled at the students when he thought they were in danger of being hit by a nearby vehicle. According to his statement to police, he followed the students briefly in an attempt to return the items lost when the students ran, which was supported by video footage. A detective met with the students and explained the findings of the investigation.\n\nNo physical contact or assault occurred. Police believe there is not a threat to the community. \n\nThe safety and security of students and our Lehigh community is our utmost priority and any report of feeling unsafe or at risk is important to investigate.
