      "verbatimText": "Safety Bulletin - Swatting Attempt\n\nIncident Reported: Swatting attempt\nLocation: Health, Science & Technology Building, 124 E Morton Street\n\nAt approximately 4:00 AM EST, several members of the Lehigh University community received an email threatening violence at the Health, Science & Technology Building at 124 E Morton Street.\n\nWith the assistance of state and federal authorities it has been determined that this is a false threat and there is no danger at this time. The email included several indications of a false threat and similar threats were received by other institutions.\n\nAs regularly scheduled, The Health, Science and Technology Building (HST) was locked and secure overnight, prior to opening at 7:00 AM this morning. Out of an abundance of caution, LUPD has increased its presence around HST and continues to work with state and federal agencies on the investigation.\n\nThe University is issuing this Safety Bulletin to inform the campus community of this false threat that was confirmed to be a swatting message. At this time, there is no information to indicate an immediate or ongoing threat to the health or safety of the campus community. This notice is provided for awareness and transparency.\n\nCommunity members are encouraged to remain aware of their surroundings and report any safety concerns to LUPD. Additionally, LUPD offers a number of safety resources, and the HawkWatch safety app allows you to make quick contact with our dispatchers.
