Willingham, Chief of Police (281) 290-5911 · FAX (281) 655-3713 5000 Research Forest Drive · The Woodlands, Texas 77381 Clery Crime Alert Assault / Fondling / Harassment – North Harris On January 25, 2017 at 8 p.m. a LSC-North Harris housekeeping employee reported being assaulted, harassed and fondled. She stated that at approximately 7 p.m. that evening, an unknown Hispanic male approached her in the Academic Building near Room 107 and began talking to her. He told her she was pretty and touched her face. She ignored him and went into Room 107 to continue her work. He followed, then reached under her apron and grabbed her buttocks. He then hugged her from behind and propositioned sex. She pushed him away and yelled at him to leave, at which point he left the area. The housekeeper does not know the male’s name, but she recognized him from the previous week when he asked to use a restroom she was cleaning. LSC Police searched the campus and could not locate the individual. The male is described as: • Hispanic Male • Late Teens / Early 20’s • 5’9 / thin build • Goatee • Photos captured from surveillance feed. If anyone has information regarding this incident or can help identify the suspect, please contact Lone Star College Police Dispatch at 281-290-5911. The lead investigator is Officer Joe McBain. Crime Prevention Tip: Community members are encouraged to contact LSC Police immediately when confronted with a suspicious person or circumstance. When working alone at night, it is recommended that employees work in a “buddy system” that allows them to check on one another.
