Willingham, Chief of Police (281) 290-5911 · FAX (281) 655-3713 5000 Research Forest Drive · The Woodlands, Texas 77381 Clery Alert - UPDATE Weapons Arrest - LSC-CyFair, Cypress Center On Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 4:00 p.m., LSC Police investigated the theft of college property at Cypress Center. While questioning a person of interest (student Michael Olthoff), the officers discovered he was a convicted felon who had two loaded handguns and a loaded AR-15 rifle in his vehicle, parked in the Cypress Center Lot. He was also in possession of methamphetamine. The individual was arrested for possession of firearms and controlled substance. He was transported to Harris County Jail. All weapons were confiscated. Olthoff is currently in Harris County custody, but may bond out. He is currently banned from all Lone Star College properties unless given permission by the President's Office or LSC Police. If he is seen on any campus, do not approach. Please contact LSC- Police immediately at 281-290-5911.
