Willingham, Chief of Police (281) 290-5911 · FAX (281) 655-3713 5000 Research Forest Drive · The Woodlands, Texas 77381 Clery Alert Weapons Arrest, LSC-University Park On Monday, April 8, 2019, at 12:24 p.m., LSC Police investigated an alleged theft at Abby's Café at the LSC-University Park campus. During a search incident to arrest, officers discovered a firearm on the suspect's person. The suspect did not have a license to carry the firearm. The suspect was arrested for Theft and Unauthorized Carrying of a Weapon. He was transported to Harris County Jail. The suspect, Siras Shafer is currently in Harris County custody but may bond out. He is currently banned from all Lone Star College properties unless given permission by the President's Office or LSC Police. If he is seen on any campus, do not approach. Please contact LSC Police immediately at 281-290-5911. Siras Schafer is described as: § Black / Male § 24 years old § 5'04 / 150lbs § Brown Eyes § Brown Hair Crime Prevention Tip: Safety is a team effort. If you see someone carrying a firearm, and they do not also carry police credentials, call the LSC Police immediately to allow us to vet that individual. Handguns can only be carried on campus by police officers and concealed by citizens who also have a License to Carry.
