      "verbatimText": "On September 27, 2018, MIT Police responded to a past burglary at the Beta Theta Pi fraternity, which is located at 119 Bay State Road in Boston. Residents reported that two bicycles were stolen from the rear basement bike storage area sometime between September 26, 2018 at 4:00PM and September 27, 2018 at 11:30AM. There were no signs of forced entry to the doorway of this location. The door bolt may have been unsecured during the time of the burglary. The incident was reported to the MIT Police this evening.\n\nThere is no suspect at this time.\n\nSuggestions\n\n\tWhile victims of crimes are never to blame for criminal activity, there are some precautions that can be taken. In order to protect yourself and your belongings from theft and/or facilitate the recovery of your stolen property, MIT Police encourage you to follow these tips:\n\n\t- See Something - Say Something: Immediately notify the MIT Police at 617-253-1212 or 100 from any campus phone if you believe a crime is occurring, has occurred, or is about to occur.\n\n\t- Always lock your doors and windows. Assure that the locks are in good working order.\n\n\t- Report all tailgaters, report suspicious people/activity.\n\n\t- Register your bicycle with MIT Parking and Transportation. Registering your bike helps to recover it should your bike become lost or stolen.
