      "verbatimText": "Incident 1\n\n\tOn December 2, 2019 at approximately 6:45 AM, a report was made to the MIT Police concerning a burglary in Building 14. The theft occurred sometime between 7:00 AM on Thursday, November 28 and 11:00 PM on Sunday, December 1. The reporting party stated that a Bluetooth speaker was missing and there was evidence of property damage. The room had been locked over the weekend and there were no signs of forced entry.\n\n\tDescription\n\n\tThere is no suspect description at this time.\n\n\tIncident 2\n\n\tOn December 2, 2019 at approximately 7:45 AM, a report was made to the MIT Police concerning a burglary from a room on the second floor of Building 24. The victim stated she locked the area upon departing on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 5:00 PM. When the individual returned to the area on December 2, 2019 at approximately 7:30 AM, a number of items were missing and the area was unlocked. The missing items include 3 laptop computers, some keys to adjoining rooms, an access badge, and a pair of black boots. The badge has been deactivated.\n\n\tDescription\n\n\tThere is no suspect description at this time.\n\n\tIncident 3\n\n\tOn December 2, 2019 at approximately 10:45 AM, a report was made concerning a burglary on the fourth floor of Building 13. The reporting party stated he left his Apple MacBook laptop on his desk in his locked office when he departed on Thursday, November 28, at approximately 3:30 PM. When he returned to the area at approximately 9:00 AM on December 2, the laptop was missing. There were no signs of forced entry.\n\n\tDescription\n\n\tThere is no suspect description at this time.\n\nThere is no suspect description at this time.\n\nSuggestions\n\n\tWhile victims of crimes are never to blame for criminal activity, there are some precautions that can be taken. In order to protect yourself and your belongings from theft and/or facilitate the recovery of your stolen property, MIT Police encourage you to follow these tips:\n\n\tSee Something - Say Something: Immediately notify the MIT Police at 617-253-1212 or 100 from any campus phone if you believe a crime is occurring, has occurred, or is about to occur.\n\n\tAlways lock your doors and windows both on campus and at your residence. Assure that locks are in good working condition.\n\n\tNever leave valuables at your desk or out in the open when you are not in the area.\n\n\tLock your office or residential door if you are leaving (even if only for a minute or two)\n\n\tReport suspicious people or activity. Report all tailgaters.\n\n\tThe MIT Police want to remind the MIT community that we are located in an urban setting and share many of the crime and safety issues that exist in any city.\n\n\tThe MIT Police are investigating this crime and request the assistance from the MIT community.
