The middle school is currently on lockdown.\n\nNorth Central Texas College (Gainesville campus) is NOT on lockdown, but active awareness needs to be taken. If you do not need to be outside please move indoors, and away from windows and doors. \n\nIf lockdown does take place:\n\nIf on campus, DENY – go to a room or office, lock doors, close window shades and turn off lights, move away from outside doors and windows, be silent and silence your phone.\n\nAssess your situation and take other Adapt emergency precautions as necessary. If you are not on campus - stay away until further notice.\n\nADAPT PRECAUTIONS:\n  - Avoid the threat if you can safely put distance between you and the threat area.\n  - Deny access to your area after moving to a room, office, or other safer location.
