      "verbatimText": "NAU Timely Warning / Crime Alert (CA# 2025-06)\n\nBurglary, Automobile (N2501063)\n\nOn November 18, 2025, at 7:12 AM, the NAU Police Department received a report of an Auto Burglary at the Hilltop Parking Garage. While investigating this incident a total of 8 vehicles were found to have broken windows and/or personal items taken from inside. Several of the vehicles were found to be unlocked. The unknown suspect(s) entered or damaged the vehicles sometime between the hours of 6:00 PM on 11/17/2025 to 7:12 AM on 11/18/2025.\n\nIf you have any information regarding these incidents, please contact the NAU Police Department.\n\nSAFETY TIPS\n\n• Always lock your doors and close the windows when your vehicle is left unattended, even for a short period of time.\n• Lock up, remove or hide valuables from site and even consider storing these items in a safer location outside of your vehicle.\n• Never leave your keys or key-fob in the ignition or within the car.\n• Consider installing or activating an alarm system.\n• Park in a well-lit visible area whenever possible.\n• Report all suspicious activity to the NAU Police Department immediately.",
