      "verbatimText": "We are sharing the below information on behalf of the Columbus Division of Police for a crime that occurred in the off-campus area.\nOn 11/12/2021, at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers on patrol were flagged down by three people near N. Pearl Street and 13th Avenue - two of which were Ohio State students. The third member of the group, who is not an Ohio State student, said that she was walking with her friends along Chittenden Ave. when an unknown male approached and pointed what looked like a pellet gun due to the orange tip. The victim reported that the suspect demanded that they give him everything they had. Property was taken, but immediately recovered back by the victim, and then the suspect then fled the area. No injuries were reported.\nAnyone with additional information is encouraged to call the Columbus Division of Police at 614-645-4545.\nPlease remember, every situation is different, but your personal safety is more important than your property. Crimes are never the fault of a victim.",
