      "verbatimText": "We are sharing the below information on behalf of the Columbus Division of Police for a crime that occurred in the off-campus area.\nOn 09/16/2021, at approximately 3 p.m., Columbus Police responded to a shooting in the area of 1900 N. 4th Street. The victim is not an Ohio State student, faculty or staff member. Details are limited at this time but CPD confirms that one person was shot and later died at the hospital.\nCPD remains on scene and is actively investigating this crime. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to call the Columbus Division of Police at 614-645-4545.\nCrimes are never the fault of a victim.",
