      "verbatimText": "We are sharing the below information on behalf of the Columbus Division of Police for a crime that occurred in the off-campus area.\n\nOn 09/21/2021, at approximately 11 p.m., an Ohio State student was walking off-campus near Indianola and Woodruff avenues when a vehicle approached. Multiple male suspects were in the vehicle and were yelling to try to get the student's attention. From a distance, one suspect showed a gun from the backseat and demanded the victim's belongings. However, the suspects fled before taking any property. No injuries were reported.\nThe vehicle is described as a white SUV (shown below). It was last seen heading southbound on Indianola Ave. Reports indicate that there may have been five total suspects inside. Additional details are limited. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to call the Columbus Division of Police at 614-645-4545.\nCrimes are never the fault of a victim.",
