      "verbatimText": "On Campus Attempted Robberies\n\nOn Monday, March 13, a Penn College student reported an attempted robbery to Penn College Police. The student reported walking toward the north end of the Bush Campus Center at 6:36 p.m. when two \"young-looking\" males approached, demanding his wallet. The student ran toward the Campus Center, and the two males fled west. He described them as being teen-to-college-age Black males. One was wearing all-black clothing, with a black cloth wrapped around his face, hiding everything but his eyes. The second was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, with white writing on the front, and a blue surgical-type mask.\n\nApproximately three minutes later, the same two suspects approached another student on the campus mall near the Parkes Automotive Technology Center and demanded his wallet. The student believes one of the suspects was holding a pepper-spray device. He was able to flee north toward the Keystone Dining Room patio. The two suspects were last seen entering the parking lot near the Parkes Automotive Technology Center.\n\nPenn College Police had two officers in the vicinity when both incidents took place; however, neither incident was reported until more than 30 minutes after they occurred, thereby delaying the search for the suspects.\n\nWe remind everyone in the campus community that, if you are the victim of crime, or witness a crime, to call 911 as soon as it safe to do so. Reporting crimes immediately can aid law enforcement in apprehending suspects and preventing additional incidents from occurring. Please do your part to keep our campus as safe as possible.\n\nAnyone who may have witnessed the incidents on Monday night (or has additional information that can aid in the investigation) is encouraged to call Penn College Police at 570-321-5555.",
