      "verbatimText": "Assault and Theft of Vehicle on Campus\nSeptember 16, 2008\n\nA male student was assaulted on campus at 11 a.m. today in the parking lot west of College Avenue Labs. The victim's vehicle was stolen. It was reported the victim was acquainted with the assailant, whose name is believed to be David Smith. Smith is not a current student. The vehicle was recovered several miles from campus. Police are searching for the assailant and in the process of obtaining an arrest warrant.\n\nAll students, faculty and staff should be alert for suspicious persons and potentially dangerous situations on and off campus. Immediately report all crimes or suspicious activity to Penn College Police. Police. Penn College Police continue to work with local, state and federal law enforcement officials. Anyone having additional information about this or any other crime should call campus police at (570) 321-5555.",

      "verbatimText": "Assault Suspect Arrested and in Custody\nSeptember 18, 2008\n\nA man accused of a Tuesday assault of a Penn College student with whom he was acquainted was taken into custody by Penn College Police and the U.S. Marshal's office Wednesday around 11 p.m. at the Maryland/Pennsylvania border. David Smith was arraigned before a district judge and committed to the Lycoming County Prison. Smith is charged with assault, attempted kidnapping, robbery, motor vehicle theft and receiving stolen property.",
