      "verbatimText": "An 18-year-old Penn College student reported being assaulted on campus Friday evening, December 13, 2013. He reported the assault to the police at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.\n\nThe incident occurred approximately 10:15 p.m. in the parking lot behind the Field House. He said he was walking west towards Rose Street Commons Apartments and was approached from behind by a green 4-door car, possibly a Ford. The car stopped next to him and a black male exited the rear passenger door. The male struck him in the head and told him to \"run his pockets.\" The victim told police that he struck the suspect in the face with a closed fist, knocking him back. The suspect got back into the car, which was also occupied by four white males, and they drove off. The victim walked to his on-campus apartment and called police. He described the suspects as being 17 to 18 years old. The male that struck him was described as being 6 feet tall.\n\nThis incident does not appear to be related to other incidents that have occurred off campus. Penn College Police are investigating. Anyone with additional information is urged to call Penn College Police at 570-321-5555.",
