      "verbatimText": "Sexual Assault Reported On Campus\n\nBased on a report received on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 11:00p.m., an 18-year-old student reported she was sexually assaulted in her Rose Street Commons apartment on Friday, August 18, 2023 at approximately 4:30p.m. The victim reported that she was inappropriately touched by a male student that was an acquaintance.\n\nIf you find yourself in a similar situation or one in which you feel you are in danger, call a friend, a family member or the police immediately. If you have been the victim of a sexual assault and do not wish to report it to the police, you may contact Tanya Berfield, Title IX Coordinator for sexual misconduct issues, at 570-320-5228 or the Crisis Hotline anonymously at 1-800-326-8483 for help and support. You have the right to have any allegations of sexual assault investigated and adjudicated by the appropriate campus, civil and criminal authorities. If you choose to call the police for help, it is your decision whether to have it investigated.",
