      "verbatimText": "Robbery of Students Off Campus\n\nTwo 24-year-old students reported being assaulted and robbed off campus in Williamsport on Saturday, November 23 at 2:10 a.m.\n\nThe incident occurred in the 900 block of West Fourth Street while the students were walking back to their on-campus apartment. The students said they were jumped from behind by a group of five black males and assaulted. After they were assaulted the suspects took their cellular telephones and a wallet. The suspects then fled east on West Fourth Street. The only clothing description provided is the suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts. The Williamsport Bureau Police are investigating.\n\nThe Williamsport Bureau of Police are also investigating a similar assault downtown in the area of Perkins and Wegmans that occurred at 1:45 a.m. It was reported the two victims in that case, one male and one female, were not students.\n\nThe Penn College Police have added additional off-campus patrols. Anyone with additional information about either of these incidents is urged to call Williamsport Bureau of Police at 570-327-7560 or Penn College Police at 570-321-5555. The Penn College Police offer escorts to and from campus.",
