      "verbatimText": "Southern California Edison (SCE) will be making an emergency repair to the Tyler Campus Center (TCC) main power system beginning around 8 p.m. to avoid a potential system failure. The Malibu campus will remain open and classes will meet as scheduled. The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is maintaining a perimeter around the TCC loading dock, and SCE has asked that the Pepperdine community avoid the area. The repair will require shutting off power to any buildings which are fed by this equipment. These include the following Malibu campus buildings: 1) TCC 2) Smothers 3) FFH 4) HH 5) HAWC 6) APC 7) RAC 8) Elkins 9) Payson 10) PLC 11) PCC 12) Dorms 13) Towers 14) Lovernich 15) CAC 16) AMB 17) KSC 18) Chapel 19) Tennis Pavilion SCE expects the repairs to take up to three hours.
