      "verbatimText": "The Malibu campus is open and classes will be held as regularly scheduled today, February 4, 2019. Due to the rains, Topanga Canyon Blvd is currently closed. Pacific Coast Highway is closed between Broad Beach and Las Posas. All other routes to campus are open at this time. Drivers are urged to make personal safety their first priority, using caution and good judgment when considering travel along the roads leading to campus as fog, rocks, mud, and debris may be encountered. At this time, the least vulnerable route to campus may be Pacific Coast Highway from the south. Additional rain is forecasted through Tuesday, and conditions may change unexpectedly. The University will continue to monitor road conditions, and any critical changes will be shared on the Road Conditions Hotline at 310.506.ROAD. Community members are advised to regularly check the hotline before traveling to campus, especially during inclement weather conditions.",
