      "verbatimText": "On Monday, August 05, 2024, a female non-affiliate reported to the Department of Public Safety that she had been the victim of an aggravated assault. The non-affiliate reported that she was working in a room on the 4th floor of Lewis Library at about 12:30 p.m. Monday when a male opened the door to the room and asked for help. He then approached the victim, grabbed her by the neck, and pushed her against a wall. The victim screamed and left the room before seeking assistance and calling DPS. The suspect did not follow her. The male suspect is described as 25-30 years old, with a brown sweatshirt, brown pants, black backpack, and dark-colored hair. Community members are encouraged to contact DPS at (609) 258-1000 should they encounter similar behavior or have information relevant to the investigation.",
