      "verbatimText": "Dear Members of the Rutgers–New Brunswick Campus Community,\n\nThis message provides essential information about Rutgers–New Brunswick campus operations in advance of a major winter storm forecasted to arrive tomorrow evening and continue through Monday morning.\n\nDue to the severity of the storm, Governor Mikie Sherrill has declared a State of Emergency effective at 5 p.m. tomorrow. The storm is expected to create hazardous weather and travel conditions, and the university is taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and well-being of our campus community.\n\nCampus Operations and Instructions\n\nWhile the university will remain open, from Sunday, January 25 through Monday, January 26 the Rutgers–New Brunswick Campus will operate remotely where possible, out of an abundance of caution.\n\n• All classes scheduled during this period will be held online, either synchronously or asynchronously.\n\n• No classes will meet on campus.\n\n• Classes that cannot be held online will be cancelled.\n\n• Instructors should communicate directly with their students regarding course-specific plans.\nWork Arrangements and Events\n\n• All events scheduled for Sunday and Monday are cancelled.\n\n• Staff will work remotely where feasible.\n\n• Employees deemed essential will be contacted by their supervisor on where and when to report.\nResidential Life and Student Services\n\n• Students living on campus may remain in their residence halls.\n\n• Dining halls will remain open and operate on adjusted schedules as needed.\n\n• Student Health services will operate virtually.\n\n• University Libraries buildings will be closed on Sunday and Monday, with instruction, research support, and reference services provided remotely.
