      "verbatimText": "Due to inclement weather expected to impact the Atlanta Metro area, including Fulton County, Spelman College will operate remotely on Friday, Jan. 10, 2025. According to the National Weather Service, scattered snow, wintry mix, icy roadways and frigid temperatures are expected through the weekend.\n\nAt this time, students will be able to move back into their dorms any time after noon on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025.\n\nOn both Saturday and Sunday, brunch service will be available in the Alma Upshaw Cafe from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dinner will be served from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. We will monitor the storm's progression and will update the campus community with any changes as needed.\n\nPlease continue to stay informed by following your local news stations and monitoring the 2025 Winter Storm Information and via spelman.edu.
