      "verbatimText": "For the protection and safety of SU students, faculty, staff and neighbors, the Department of Public Safety releases the following informational notice:\n\nSexual Offense The Department of Public Safety has received information regarding an incident that occurred on February 13, 2017 at about 9:30 p.m., in the 300 block of Marshall Street involving a student being approached from behind, and inappropriately and unwillingly touched by a male. The suspect is 20-35 years old, about 6’0 tall, skinny build, with scruffy facial hair light in color, wearing a zipped - up coat of unknown color and dark pants. The male was last seen headed South on Comstock Ave.\n\nIf anyone has any information regarding this incident or others, please contact the Syracuse University Department of Public Safety at 315.443.2224. If you would like to anonymously report NON-EMERGENCY information for DPS, you can use the Silent Witness tool.\n\nThe safety of our students, faculty, staff and visitors is and will always be our top priority.
