The victim reported that she has had multiple unwelcome interactions with the suspect since the Spring of 2026 via social media, text messaging, and in person, despite having told the suspect directly to stop contacting her. The suspect has also been physically following the victim and has attempted to use social media to track the victim's whereabouts. In addition, the suspect has attempted to contact the victim on multiple social media platforms, at on-campus events, and at organization meetings where the suspect is not a member of the organization. The suspect's identity is known. The suspect is described as a 25 year old Hispanic male, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 160 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. The appropriate CSA is actively investigating the report regarding these incidents. No further information will be released at this time. Anyone with information about this or other incidents is encouraged to contact the Texas A&M University Police Department at 979-845-2345. While a university is required under the Clery Act to notify the public of such reports, it is also our responsibility to provide information regarding protective measures. All are encouraged to: Stay alert and be aware of your surroundings. Trust your instincts. Be cautious of individuals who do not respect personal boundaries or repeated requests not to contact. Report suspicious activity or unwanted contact to the police immediately. Document the stalking behaviors, even if you are unsure about reporting to the police.
