Investigation into the incident revealed that an aggravated\nassault with a knife incident occurred on the sidewalk in front of the J. Bennet Johnston Building located at 1324\nTulane Avenue on the Downtown Campus. TUPD Officers attended to the subject who was unresponsive at the\ntime.\n\nNo information related to the perpetrator was able to be retrieved from the victim.\n\nThis incident is being investigated by the Tulane University Police Department in coordination with the New\nOrleans Police Department. Anyone with information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the TUPD\nat 504.865.5381.\n\nPersonal Safety Tips:\n\nSuspects look for crimes of opportunity and certain personal safety measures can be followed to minimize your\nchances of becoming a victim. These are:\n\n • Be vigilant of persons acting in a suspicious manner.
