      "verbatimText": "Subject: Timely Warning Notification – Aggravated Assault – Uptown Campus Offense: Aggravated Assault (Substance Facilitated Assault) Date: January 20, 2023\n\nContent Warning: This notification includes information pertaining to a substance facilitated assault.\n\nOn January 20, 2023, Tulane University Police Department responded to a student who reported signs of drugging.\n\nThe victim reported she was at a fraternity house party at 835 Broadway Street when she was approached by an unknown male who offered her a drink. Upon tasting it, the victim noticed the beverage had a salty flavor and began to feel unwell. Upon noticing the symptoms of drugging, the student left the party and shortly after, reported the incident to TUPD.\n\nSuspect description as provided by the victim: White male, no further description provided.\n\nYou are receiving this notification in compliance with the The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act or “Clery Act.”\n\nIf you have any additional information about this incident, please contact TUPD at 504-865- 5381\n\nPlease Remember These Safety Tips: • Always buy or get your own drink and watch it being poured. • Do not accept drinks from strangers. • Never leave your drink unattended. • Throw your drink away if you think it tastes strange or different. • If you think you may have been drugged, ask a close friend to get you out of the venue or party as soon as possible and either take you home or to the hospital for testing.\n\nFor Counseling and other Supportive Measures, click here.\n\nTo learn more about campus safety services and programs, click here.",
