      "verbatimText": "Tulane University Police Department\nUptown District Aggravated Battery and Simple Assault\nDate and Time of Occurrence:\nFebruary 28, 2021, at approximately 5:15 p.m.\n\nLOCATION:\nInside the Commons and on Newcomb Blvd.\n\nReported Incident:\n\nAggravated Assault / Simple Battery\n\nAt approximately 5:15 p.m. the subject, who is a non-affiliate of Tulane, entered the Commons and committed\nsimple battery (punches) on a Sodexo employee. The subject was known to the victim. A supervisor intervened\nand the perpetrator walked out of the Commons toward Newcomb Blvd. The supervisor followed. As the\nperpetrator reached his vehicle, which was parked on Newcomb, he exchanged words with the supervisor. The\nperpetrator then retrieved a shotgun from his vehicle and pointed it at the supervisor who then backed away.\nThe perpetrator left campus.\n\nSUSPECT’S DESCRIPTION:\n\nKnown perpetrator / Known to victim\n\nDescriptions provided by victim/witness.\nInformation about the race or ethnicity of alleged offenders is provided only to aid detailed descriptions that include physical stature, clothing\nor unusual characteristics.
