      "verbatimText": "Tulane University Police Department\nUptown District\n\nContent Warning: The following narrative references two Armed\nRobberies\nand an Aggravated Battery\n\nDATE & TIME OF OCCURRENCE: Sunday, February 7, 2021, at about 9:40 PM\n\nLOCATION: Intersections of Broadway and Green followed by Broadway at Spruce. An additional\nAggravated Battery by shooting occurred in the 1900 Blk. of Broadway shortly after the above\ntwo incidents at 10:00 PM.\n\nREPORTED OFFENSE: The New Orleans Police Department and Tulane University Police\nDepartment responded to the armed robbery of a Tulane University affiliate, which occurred near\nthe intersection of Broadway and Green. No injuries were reported. The perpetrator approached\nfrom behind. The direction of flight is currently unknown.\n\nMinutes later, an armed robbery of a Tulane University affiliate occurred near the intersection of\nBroadway and Spruce. No injuries were reported. The direction of flight was towards S. Claiborne\nAve on foot. The affiliate was unable to provide a description of the perpetrator other than a black\nhandgun.\n\nAt 10 PM a victim was walking from his side yard to his residence when what appears to be the\nsame perpetrator approached and asked for a \"Bud\". The victim ignored him and proceeded to\nenter his residence, at which time the perpetrator fired a shot through the door striking the victim\nin the leg. Direction of flight is unknown.\n\nSUSPECT’S DESCRIPTION: The perpetrators were described by the non-affiliate as the following:\n          1. Black, male, 5’8’’, wearing all black and a black beanie cap.\n\nINVESTIGATION ONGOING:\nIf you have any information about these crimes, call TUPD at 504-865-5381 or NOPD at 504-821-2222.\n\n*Descriptions provided by victim/witness.
