      "verbatimText": "Subject: Safety Notice – Armed Robbery (Carjacking) – Uptown Campus – Off-Campus Offense: Carjacking Date: December 16, 2022\n\nContent Warning: This notification includes information related to an armed robbery in our area.\n\nToday, December 19, 2022, the Tulane University Police Department learned that a Tulane student had been the victim of a carjacking on Friday December 16, 2022. The victim reported that at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Friday they were returning to their residence in the 2600 block of Calhoun Street when two unknown subjects approached as they were exiting the vehicle. One of the subjects produced a firearm and demanded the keys to the vehicle. The victim complied with the demand and was ordered to return to their residence. The subjects then fled in the victim’s vehicle.\n\nThe incident was originally reported to the New Orleans Police Department, which is leading the investigation.
