      "verbatimText": "Subject: Safety Notice – Burglary, Fondling Offense: Burglary, Sexual Battery Date: Saturday, August 26, 2023\n\nContent Warning: This notification includes information related to non -consensual sexual touching and unlawful entry of a residence.\n\nAt approximately 12:50 pm on Saturday, August 26, 2023, the Tulane University Police Department learned that a student had been the victim of a fondling at their residence located in the 900 block of Pine Street. At approximately 3:30 am an unknown male entered the victim’s residence and bedroom. The unknown male unzipped the victim’s pants and touched them in their private area. The victim awoke causing the perpetrator to flee the residence.\n\nThe subject was described by the victim as a male with short black hair wearing a white shirt and dark pants.\n\nPlease Remember These Safety Tips:\n\n• Always secure your residence whether at home or away. • Respect the rights and boundaries of others. • Whenever possible install lighting or cameras at or around doorways and windows.\n\nIf you have any additional information related to this individual, please contact either the Tulane University Police Department or the New Orleans Police Department.\n\nFor Counseling and other Supportive Measures, click here.\n\nTo learn more about campus safety services and programs, click here.",
