      "verbatimText": "DATE & TIME OF OCCURRENCE: June 27, 2024, at 6:20 a.m.\n\nLOCATION: 7001 Freret Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, 70118 (Howard-Tilton Memorial Library Exterior).\n\nREPORTED OFFENSE: On Thursday, June 27, 2024, at approximately 6:20 a.m., the victim was walking eastbound on the sidewalk at the exterior of Howard-Tilton Memorial Library (HTML), underneath the scaffolding near 7001 Freret Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, 70118, when an unknown suspect forcibly attempted to take the victim’s box of Dunkin Donuts. The victim maintained possession of the box of Dunkin Donuts, and the suspect pushed the victim on the arm and then the suspect pushed the victim again from the rear. The victim continued to walk eastbound on Freret Street and the suspect continued westbound on Freret Street.\n\nSUSPECT’S DESCRIPTION: The suspect is described as a black female, approximately 35-45 years of age, approximately 5’7, with a braided hairstyle, wearing a white hat, red sleeveless shirt, with tan pants, and a white Mardi Gras beaded necklace.\n\nINVESTIGATION ONGOING: If you have any information about these crimes, call TUPD at 504-865-5381 or NOPD at 504-821-2222.\n\n*Descriptions provided by victim/witness.
