      "verbatimText": "Tulane University Police Department\nUptown District Armed Robbery (Carjacking)\n\nDate and Time of Occurrence:\nSaturday January 15,2022\n\nLOCATION:\n1200 Adams St. (11:50 AM), 2200 Audubon St. (1:28 PM), 2814 Palmer St. (1:32 PM), 300 Audubon St. (4:20\nPM) and 329 State St. (4:23 PM)\n\nREPORTED OFFENSE:\nArmed robbery (carjacking) with a firearm\n\nSUSPECT’S DESCRIPTION:\n2 black males, dressed in dark hoodies with light colored pants, armed with a black and silver handgun.\n\nReported Incident:\nThis evening the Tulane University Police Department was made aware of multiple carjackings that occurred\nnear or in our patrol perimeter. Subjects approached the victims and demanded their vehicles at gunpoint.\nNOPD is currently tracking a vehicle believed to be related to the crimes and it is believed that the same\nsubjects are responsible for all five incidents. No injuries to any of the victims were reported.\n\nDescriptions provided by victim/witness.\nInformation about the race or ethnicity of alleged offenders is provided only to aid detailed descriptions that include physical stature, clothing\nor unusual characteristics. Racial descriptions do not, by themselves, offer a meaningful picture of an individual's appearance.\n\nINVESTIGATION ONGOING\nIf you have any information about these crimes, call TUPD at 504-865-5381 or NOPD at 504-821-2222.\n\nTAKE A STAND AGAINST CRIME\n   1.       "verbatimText": "Tulane University Police Department\nUptown District Armed Robbery (Carjacking) **Crime Alert Update**\n\n**Crime Alert Update**\nThe New Orleans Police Department has arrested four subjects they believe could be connected with the four\ncarjackings and one attempted carjacking that occurred Saturday, January 16, 2022 near or within TUPD’s\nuptown patrol perimeter. (See Saturday’s Crime Alert below). The four subjects were arrested Saturday night on\nunrelated charges and remain in custody. Investigators are working to bring additional charges related to the\nuptown carjackings and other carjacking incidents that occurred in districts around the city on Saturday.
