      "verbatimText": "Sexual Offense - Fondling\nDec. 11, 2023\nPlease note this message may contain information that some may find upsetting.\nUniversity of Arizona Police Department Crime Alert\n(Clery Timely Warning)\nType of Offense: Sexual Offense - Fondling\nToday’s Date: December 11th, 2023\nDate and Time of Occurrence: December 11th, 2023, 6:00 PM (approximate time)\nLocation: E. 7th Street and N. Vine Avenue\nReporting Agency: University of Arizona Police Department / CASE # U2312110008\nTucson Police Department / CASE # 2312110209\nSynopsis of Crime or Offense: At approximately 6:00PM, a female student was walking in the area of E. 7th Street and N. Vine Avenue (just south of campus). A male walked up behind the student. He put his arm around her waist and with his other hand fondled her genitals over her clothing. The victim screamed and the male ran away, eastbound on 7th Street.\nInjuries: There were no reported injuries.\nSuspect Description: A male who appeared to be Hispanic, heavy set build, approximately 5’8” in height. He was wearing an orange shirt and jeans. The victim did not see a vehicle associated with the subject.\nStatus: The University of Arizona Police Department (UAPD) received the initial report. Tucson Police Department (TPD) will be the primary investigating agency due to a similarity with other TPD cases.\nUAPD and TPD are actively searching for the suspect and anyone with information or surveillance video of the area is asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME (520-882-7463). You can remain anonymous.\nUAPD would like to remind the campus community about the following safety tips:\n• Per Arizona law and University policy, consent is required by all parties to engage in\nsexual activity and may be revoked at any time.\n• Sexual assault is never the fault of the survivor.
