Iowa City Police responded to Mercy Hospital, 500 E. Market Street, on Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 3:35 p.m. for a report of a man stabbed. The victim was able to walk to the hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.\n\nAdditional information is available in the press release issued today by the Iowa City Police Department.\n\nThe suspect is described as a 5'10\", middle aged, dark haired, white man with a slender build wearing a dark blue shirt.\n\nThis incident is being actively investigated by the Iowa City Police Department. Anyone with information is asked to contact ICPD at 319-356-5275.
