      "verbatimText": "Crime Alert: Sexual Assault\nMonday, August 28, 2023\nThis message includes information about a crime that was recently reported on or near the University of Iowa campus. The purpose of this email is to provide you with the information you need to stay safe and take any appropriate precautions.\nIn the interest of campus safety, we want everyone to be aware that University of Iowa officials received a report of fondling, a form of sexual assault, that occurred near the top floor of the North Campus parking ramp on Saturday, Aug. 26 just after 10 p.m. According to the report, a man split from the group he was walking with, grabbed the person, and touched their crotch area. The reporting party yelled loudly and was able to get away.\nThe suspect is described as a 6'1\" or 6'2\" white male with brown hair, wearing a bar crawl t-shirt.\nIf you have any additional information about this incident, please contact UI Police at (319)-335-5022 or submit a crime tip via text message using the Rave Guardian app.\nThe only person responsible for a crime is the perpetrator. Crime alerts are sent to UI students and employees in accordance with federal law requiring universities to disclose information about crime to help prevent similar crimes and to identify offenders.\nThis is not an emergency notification. These timely warnings are prompted by crimes that have already occurred, but could represent a serious or ongoing threat to students and employees. This message alone is not necessarily an indication that crime rates on campus have increased or that a pattern of crime has emerged.
