He yelled violent racial slurs and then punched her in the face. The victim sustained an injury to her right eye and declined medical care at the time.\nThe suspect was described by the victim as a middle-aged black male, about 5’11’’, medium build, medium skin tone. He was wearing a navy ball cap with a yellow block M and either a dark black, gray, or blue shirt. He was riding a mountain bike that may have been silver in color and was last seen riding his bike northbound on Liberty St.\nWe advise residents and visitors in Ann Arbor to be extra vigilant and aware of their surroundings when walking around. Look assertive and trust your intuition. If a particular situation makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, choose an alternative. We also recommend walking with a friend or co-worker and avoiding isolated areas.\nIf you feel threatened, look for a blue light emergency phone on campus or call 911 from any phone. If you see something, say something, report suspicious behavior by calling 911.\nIf you have any information, please contact the U-M Division of Public Safety and Security at (734) 763-1131 or the Ann Arbor Police Department Tip Line (734) 794-6939.",
