DPSS strongly encourages you to:\nLock your car doors.\nDo not leave valuable items in your car. Either remove the items or be sure that they are not visible. This includes electronics, purses, backpacks, wallets, money (even change), etc. Thieves may look through car windows for valuables. Leaving them in plain sight will make your vehicle a more likely target.\nRegistering your electronics (such as a laptop) with DPSS can help deter theft and assist in the recovery of stolen property. If you are a victim of a break-in or larceny or see any suspicious behavior, please contact AAPD at (734) 994-2911 or use their Tip Line (734) 794-6939 or tips@a2gov.org.",
